- Has it really been two years since the last update here? We are proud to announce though our latest release--SiS. This application will allow officers to maintain a datafile of subjects they come in contact with on a regular basis.
- Major changes are also coming to ECHO. We have found a report generator that it is very dynamic and will allow us to easily create new reports for the new functionality in ECHO. As SiS is essentially out of development, we should have more time to devote to ECHO. Thanks again for your patience.

- The Merg's Freeware Co. has a new look for now.
- The discussion forum is up a running. It is a full-featured forum with multiple discussion areas. Users familiar with the UBB style forums will find it easy to use.
- The Equipment & Cruiser History Organizer (ECHO) application now has its own web page. This software is not available for download by the public. Please contact us via our Contact page if interested in this application.

- Okay, so it's been a almost a year since we promised Web Accounts Plus v2.0. It is still being worked on. Some database enhancements are being worked on that will allow the application to run faster.
- We are now using a new web-hosting company, ColossalHost. This should allow us to have additional features built into the website, such as a full-featured forum and CGI-scripts.

- Well, it's been a while since any news has been posted. Due to other obligations, time spent on The Merg's Freeware Company has been limited. We are still hoping to release Web Accounts Plus v2.0 and the Teacher Test Maker application. We apologize for the lack of updates.
